Barrett’s training department is ready to take you to the next level. Learn the intricacies of long-range shooting and maintain your Barrett rifles at an armorer level. Offering long-range shooting courses at locations around the country, as well as armorer courses at its Murfreesboro, Tennessee, factory, Barrett has the course to fit your large-caliber training needs. Armorer

Model 82A1 / M107A1 Armorer

The Model 82A1® / M107A1® Armorer Course covers all 82 and 107 Series rifles. In house Barrett armorers teach this course and are prepared to share their unequaled knowledge of the Barrett Light .50 platform.

Model 99/95 Armorer

Model 99™/95™Armorer is a half day course (4 hrs) covering everything needed to keep Barrett bolt action rifles in top operating condition including operational theory, troubleshooting and in-depth maintenance procedures for the Model 95 and Model 99™ rifles. Upon successful completion of the course, each student is presented with a certification which is valid for three years. This class will be offered one time a year, or on as requested.

This one-day course is geared toward MRAD® owners, law enforcement and military personnel, and gunsmiths. It covers depot level maintenance to keep these Barrett bolt action rifles in top operating condition.

This intensive three-day shooting course is specifically crafted for proficient shooters seeking advanced expertise.

Mountain Precision

Mountain Precision Rifle is a three-day course set to challenge a shooter both physically and mentally by engaging targets using tripods and natural terrain to include high angles, cross canyon engagements, advanced wind reading and data collection.

Multi-Target

Incorporating precise environmental assessment to accurately adjust for projectile effects up to 1200 yards, mastering reticle-based target ranging, and effectively engaging multiple targets using Max Point Blank, and Speed Drop, from 100 to 1200 yards, are focal points of this intensive three-day shooting course.

Long Range 1

Long Range 1 is taught over a three-day period where new or experienced shooters are taught the fundamentals of marksmanship that are used for long-range shooting. During the course participants will gain an understanding of the ballistics and data collection that correlates with engaging targets out to 1000 yards.

Long Range 2

Long Range 2 is taught over a two-day period and can be taken immediately following successful completion of LR1. Participants will begin with confirming zero at known distances, then work into the challenges of shooting at unknown distances reaching or exceeding 1500 yards.
