Long Range Precision

Prerequisite: Precision Rifle

This intensive three-day shooting course is specifically crafted for proficient shooters seeking advanced expertise. Immerse yourself in a comprehensive program that delves profoundly into the nuanced essentials of marksmanship, exclusively tailored for enthusiasts of long-range shooting. Experience a dynamic syllabus seamlessly intertwining theoretical knowledge with practical application, refining your proficiency in ballistics, reticle-based target ranging, data collection methodologies, and the meticulous aspects of rifle setup and maintenance. Precision-engineered for seasoned marksmen, this specialized Long-Range Marksmanship Course aims to elevate your mastery in handling the MRAD, MRAD SMR, and 98B Barrett Rifles.

You must possess the physical capability to transport all necessary shooting equipment across a distance of 50 yards.

Course Highlights:

  • Tuition: $1,750
  • Topics include safety, marksmanship fundamentals, ballistics, and maintenance.
  • Kestrel setup and use.
  • Target Ranging.
  • Target engagement out to 1760 yards.
  • Classes run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Participants traveling by air on the final day should plan accordingly.
  • Rental Rifles are available for this course.
    • Cost is caliber-dependent and includes ammunition, optic, and shooting mat.
      • .338 Lapua Magnum – $1,550
      • .300 Norma Magnum – $1,650
      • .300 PRC – $1,000
      • .300 Winchester Magnum – $1,000
      • 6.5 Creedmoor – $850
