  • May I bring my BORS to training courses?

Yes. Barrett strongly recommends being familiar with your BORS prior to attending class. It is also a very good idea to zero your scope at 100 yards before coming to class. However, if you are unable to zero your BORS-equipped rifle prior to class, it can be done during class.

The reason it is requested that you zero your BORS-equipped rifle prior to class is that 300 yards is the closest-distance shot in class. Since the BORS unit requires a 100-yard zero, a custom cartridge table must be made in order to zero the BORS unit at 300 yards.

  • Can I ship my rifle to NRA Whittington Center?

Yes. Shipping your rifle is not required. You may travel with your rifle if you like. Please visit TSA's website for instructions on how to travel by air with firearms. Also check with your airline about checking firearms in your luggage.
